So...
Which of the following things will help me get out of jury duty on Monday?

A.  Arabic dictionary, stack of Arabic/English newspapers to translate, yellow legal pad full of scribbley Arabic notes
B.  Book on Arab-American women through history
C.  iPod full of downloaded podcasts from Radio Tahrir
D.  None of the above; there's no racism in jury selection in Kings County!  And Arabs aren't scary!   
E.  All of the above, and do you have a t-shirt saying you're a lesbian anywhere?

A, because B isn't technically scary or active, they probably won't check your iPod, and no, I don't have a shirt you can borrow. :)

i'd go with E. there's also (at least in PA) a clause about being a primary caretaker to a child under a certain age. that could help.
